Peiyi Wong is a New York-based scenographer and interdisciplinary artist. She designs sets and costumes for theater, opera, dance, and film with a particular interest in experimental and cross-disciplinary modes of expression and collaboration. Her work has been presented both nationally and internationally. Notable venues include HERE Arts Center, REDCAT, P.S. 122, The Ontological-Hysteric Theater, The Chocolate Factory, Automata, the Tribeca Film Festival, and the Prague Quadrennial. With The Lonely Painter Project, she has designed premieres of The Bet and The Optics of Dying Light. She holds and MFA in Scenic Design and Integrated Media from the California Institute of the Arts and BA in Literature/Visual Arts from Columbia University.
